MTSE Student Conference 2016

The Methodist-Related Theological Schools in Europe (MTSE) is inviting undergraduate and graduate theology and seminary students to participate and present their research in its first MTSE Student Conference at Coventry Central Hall, United Kingdom. The conference theme is “Making Connections for Reconciliation”. The conference is to be held at Coventry Central Hall, UK on 4-7 February 2016. The student conference is to be held on 4 February 2016. Students from the UK and Europe are invited to participate and submit their abstracts/papers to be considered for presentation.

Accepted abstracts will be notified via email on or before 30 November 2015. Letters of acceptance will be sent both by email and by post.

Abstract Submission

Abstracts must include five (5) keywords and short information about the author/s (100 words). The abstract should not be more than 250 words. The abstract/paper should reflect on the theme of the conference. Please follow the template below:

Deadline of abstract submission is until 30 November 2015.

Registration

The registration fee is €60, including meals and accommodation.

Please register on or before 15 January 2016. Use the form below or send this form as well as this booking form (group, individual) to this email address: mtsestudentconference@gmail.com or to gurupintar@yahoo.com. Follow the following format:

Subject: Registration (MTSE Student Conference)

Message: Complete name, year level (undergraduate/bachelor's degree, graduate), area of studies, name of school/institution attending, presenter/attendee, contact address, contact number, email address.

(Please indicate if you need a visa to enter UK.)

There are only limited slots available. Once you have sent your registration, an email will be sent to you for confirmation.

Financial Assistance

It is also possible that the participant/presenter can request financial assistance for airfare and registration to attend/present at the conference. Please submit a 150-word statement regarding your need for financial assistance.

  • For attendees, use the same form from the Registration section.

  • For presenters, include the statement with your abstract.

Accommodation

All participants will be accommodated at the Coventry Central Hall.
