​APPLICATION FORMS AND REQUIREMENTS

How to Apply

Individuals and Methodist-related schools and institutions may request for the following assistance according to their needs. Take the time to read the application forms as there are additional infomation and requirements listed there. Below are the basic information and requirements to apply for any of the following grants.

 

(a) FOR INDIVIDUALS

Grants and Scholarship Programs (GRASP)

NOTE:  The Deadline to submit a completed application online will be March 1, 2021.

 

Methodist Academic Program (MAP)

(1) Filled out application form. Download appplication here: (English) (Deutsch)

(2) Two (2) letters of recommendation from someone who can attest your skills and capabililities (Teacher/Professor, Pastor, Employer, Lay Leader)

(3) Letter of acceptance from the institution or school

(4) Official student expense budget, prepared by the school
(5) Resume or Curriculum Vitae
(6) Transcripts

Short Term Exchange Program Between MTSE Institutions

(1) Filled out application form. Download application for here: (English)

(2) Confirmation of official endorsement for the exchange from home institution

 

(b) FOR INSTITUTIONS/ORGANIZATIONS 

Leadership Development Program (LeD)

(1) Filled out application form. Download application here: Leadership Development (English) (Deutsch)

(2) Two (2) letters of recommendation from someone who can attest your skills and capabililities (Teacher/Professor, Pastor, Employer, Lay Leader)

(3) Please read carefully the required information in the application form. If necessary, use additional pages/sheets.

(4) If using additional sheets of paper, please do not forget to attach the application form. Otherwise, your application will not be processed.

 

Technical Assistance Program (TAP)

(1) Filled out application form. Download application here: TAP (English) (Deutsch)

(2) Two (2) letters of recommendation from someone who can attest your skills and capabililities (Teacher/Professor, Pastor, Employer, Lay Leader)

(3) Please read carefully the required information in the application form. If necessary, use additional pages/sheets.

(4) If using additional sheets of paper, please do not forget to attach the application form. Otherwise, your application will not be processed.

(5) In a proposal form:

  • Name, address, phone number, and email address of the activity leader

  • List of training group participants

  • Within 30 days of the completion of training, the facilitator must submit pictures or a video of the event, a 1-page evaluation describing the success and/or challenges of the training and the plan for follow-up with the participants and subsequent communities served.
