In February of 2012, 75 representatives of Methodist-related colleges and universities from 16 different countries in Asia passed a resolution to create an educational association for the purpose of collaborative and cooperative networking to foster dynamic and holistic Christian leadership in Asia and the Pacific. The conference grew out of a partnership agreement signed in 2010, between Yonsei University and the General Board of Higher Education and Ministry (GBHEM) to collaborate on educational efforts to develop quality leaders, eliminate poverty, and develop dynamic congregations on a global scale. Under that agreement, Yonsei University’s College of Theology functions as the Asian regional office of GBHEM’s Methodist Global Education Fund for Leadership Development. Dr. Young Min Paik is the acting director of the MGEFLD Asia Office.
Jan. 20th, 2015 is the deadline to register for the entire conference with guaranteed housing.
Room assignments will be based on order of registration and room availability.
Apply early since we need to make a deposit based on the number of participants.
Cancellation Policy
The last day to cancel with full refund is January 20th, 2015 (minus $25 processing fee).
Only 50% of registration fee including housing will be refunded between January 20th and 24th, 2015.
No registration fee including housing will be refunded after January 24th, 2015.
The deadline to register for the conference as commuters (with meals) is January 24th, 2015.
On-site registration is available only for daily commuters (without meals): $80/per day
